S4 hood liner overlay.
So a Josh ( a friend of mine from 905 rides) and I had discussed doing a custom S4 hood liner overlay for a while and well tonight it became a reality. It turned out good considering I was the Guinea Pig car.
Here's how it went. My car with the hood liner removed. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...3_619583_n.jpg The hood liner removed from the car and layed out on a table. Where we cleaned and vacummed it good. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...5_331655_n.jpg The Vinyl S4 Overlay http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...6_341857_n.jpg Josh applying heat to the overlay so it will stick to the hood liner. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._5834651_n.jpg The overlay applied. I couldn't snap a photo of the next step, but I sprayed blue krylon paint directly down on the liner and then removed the overlay to get the outline of the S4 logo. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8032138_n.jpg Josh cutting out the center of the second overlay so we can apply the red to the square http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3630052_n.jpg The second overlay applied. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._6379672_n.jpg Josh once again applying heat. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1218231_n.jpg Finished Product. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._2648425_n.jpg The photo makes the 4 looks crooked but it's not. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._6716352_n.jpg |
