hi can anyone tell me how a turbo works i have a6 tdi and at around
2000rpm in each gear there seems to be a slight jump when accelerating and i
was wondering if its the turbo kicking in and not something serious.

Turbos inherently have some lag time while they spin up, so what you
are feeling is the boost from the turbo once it spools up - in other
words, completely normal.
