I meant as compared to "stock cars"... Audi engineers fine equipment (I hold a training cert from
Porsche-Audi ;-} and meant further that "real" racers have to negotiate left AND right turns.

K. Duckworth did a production sedan?!?!

I WANT one!

(Don't bring up the 'VauxHaul' Viva, please.)

X:it make sense!).
X:
X:The comment did, of course, refer to the British bits in a US racing series
X:(the chassis and the engine, in most cases); Cosworth (ex-Lotus), Ilmor

Yeah; I know your type ... ;^) C'mon up to Road America and see more of
them than is probably healthy - unless you're one of the fanatics who can
*afford* to literally follow F1. Personally, I have to settle for the
occasional recently-retired Ferrari that Brian French will bring out to the
track. GAWD, those things are loud! I'm kinda' glad they don't race here.
I can do plenty of hearing damage with the Can Am McLarens at the historics.

Cool thing is, it's not just NASCAR ovals. I've 'got' part of Watkins Glen,
Laguna Seca, and Sears Point as well as all the major ovals. Of course, if
you really want a 'motorhead' stock that performs halfway decently, you've
gotta go with Harley Davidson. Even when they're not selling all the bikes
they can make, the guys who already have 'em are outfitting their 'scooter
babes' in "Officially Licensed" H-D leather and Lycra. Just another way of
making a few bucks off the unwashed masses.
