Why don't you just do it yourself?

Wal-Mart charges $21.00 I think.

I purchased an oil filter from the dealer $6.00 and will change me own oil
tomorrow with Castrol synthetic that is blended for VW.

Re: How much is reasonable to pay for A4 Oil Change in Pleasanton Area, CA ?

During the free service period, the dealer would consistently overfill the
oil. I would consistently point it out to them (as well as the dire warnings
in the manual and on the oil cap itself regarding the matter), they would
apologize profusely and, next time around, do it again.

They had a lame excuse at first that their "automatic filler" was
misadjusted. Presumably, if such a thing exists, it must be a continuing
challenge to keep in calibration. I think they got it right once.

I would pump out the excess and it would be about a quart. How about that?

The solution: have someone competent do it. I do it myself. Problem solved.
