Wow, 147 bhp is really low for such a heavy car. I'd rather pay more
for a more powerful engine or pay less for a lighter car.

There's another big difference between Germany and America: Germany has
efficient and well-planned roads. America is full of stop signs, red
lights, and suicidal freeway ramps where cars enter and exit at the same
point.

There's a suicidal ramp near where I live. Speeds on this top
clover-leaf are about 30 MPH for cars and 18 MPH for trucks due to the
steep elevation change. Freeway traffic is going about 60 MPH in the
right lane. Landscaping prevents entering traffic and freeway traffic
from seeing each other. It's brilliant.
