can some one help me
i have a 97 audi a4 2.8 awd and i need to replace the side marker, front
corner lights, and need to take the tail light out? also, i got a cd
changer install at circuit city, ever since then my radio would not work.
even when i brought it to the dealership and paid $40.00 to get the code,
same happen. what could possibly be the problem.

Re: can some one help me
tsee,
Sorry, I can't help you with the lights, but it should be in your owner's
manual.
It sounds like the installers at CC may have cut too many wires and not
spliced enough back together. If you're having trouble entering the code,
refer to:
http://www.ibiblio.org/tkan/audi/radios/radios.html
If they had to pull the radio at the dealer to get the serial number to
retrieve the code (probably what you paid $40 for), ask them if they saw any
mass cut&crimping. You may want to check this out for yourself as well -
just get (or make) the tools for pulling the radio - they're available at
many places like Walmart and FLAPS (friendly local auto parts store).
There may be some folks on Audiworld's A4 forum that could help you.
Cheers!

From the owner's manual of my A4:
"For your safety, we recommend that you have your authorized Audi Dealer
replace any bulbs for you, since your dealer has necessary tools, the
correct bulbs and the expertise."
"...and can charge you an arm and a leg for it," they forgot to add.
Seriously though, not sure about the rears, but as far as the front
corners - you definitely need to pull the light out to get to the bulb.
Cheers,
Pete
