Best Place for a cam belt?
Hi there
Just recently bought a 2001 A6 , 2.5v6 TDI Have been advised that it will need a cam belt done around the 79,000 mile mark The local Audi dealership say the job will cost me £400 as there are 2 other belts that need to be changed as well as the cam belt Does anybody know where I can get this done cheaper around the midlands as the Audi price tag seems a little steep for a rubber belt job ???. I would like it done by a reputable garage as I want a receipt in case the new belt snaps then i have some come back thanks |

Even more reasonable if they are replacing the water pump - which they may as well do once they've carved their way down to that cam belt... /daytripper '00 s4 6spd, got lucky, first belt change was on Audi USA :-) |
