the four circles in audi mean audi,horch.wenderer,dkw,
dkw had three different menings over the years , one was every boys dream,
one was steam powerd vehicle,
audi called the origonal audi 50 ,80 etc after the bhp of the cars , i.e a
audi 50 was 50 bhp the super 90 was 90 bhp etc
this was of course stopped many years ago and the audi 100 would often have
more than 100 bhp but thats whare the names came from,
august horch called the company audi after his name they both mean listen in
latan and german
carl benz who is said to have invented the motor car had a engineer who
worked with him, this was actually august horch so really audi has been here
from the start! betra benz was his wife and mercedes benz was his sister .
