which antifreeze for '90 Turbo 200 ?

I'm getting ready to replace the timing belt, water pump, etc... and would
like to go back with
the right antifreeze but having bought the car don't know what's in it ?

What's the safe antifreeze at the minumum cost, please ?

Thank you,
Courtney

Any good quality glycol based (called "summer") anti-freeze is fine. All the
BS about specialist requirements is merely aimed at reducing the exposure to
manufacturer's warranties and keeping the cash rolling in to VAG. Much the
same with oil specifications too!
