Don't even bother with an RNS-E.. Get a Pioneer Avic D3 and a Metric install kit. The D3 has way better nav, plays DVD's, XM and Sirius, full Ipod control on the touch screen, and is twice the stereo the OEM RNS-E is. Plus it's half the price and will look totally OEM in the car. They are about $500 too...
Every color on the stereo including the buttons and volume knob plus all on screen graphics are totally color customizable so you can match any color. Its not just red blue green but any shade of any red you want (buttons too). As you can see in the attached pic, it's all OEM red which is sweet at night. I just put one in my 350Z with Bose and have another on the way for the A4. Check out: http://www.avic411.com/forum/ It's a whole community around Pioneers Avic players. Here is an 06 A4 with one, http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13180 A list of some of the part numbers needed for the install kit etc: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtop...highlight=audi Attachment 15653 Attachment 15654 |

No problem, check the avic411.com forums there are a few for sale now and again. I bought mine used for $500 shipped with the Ipod cable from my350z.com.
