LOL, I just bought a 2011 A5 SLine Quattro Cabrio 135k Kms on it, a local car with clean record no claims etc. I have had many VAG products with 2.0 T platfroms like a 2015 GTI, 2009 A4 etc and never had any issues. On this purchase I thought maybe I'll check online of any issues and OMG, looks like I have royally screwed myself by buying this evil EA888 engine, am I screwed???????? Any real time true experience would be helpful lol. The car drives and sounds like brand new, no abnormal smoke or smell from the exhaust, it came certified. I will be doing all fluids changed next week when I take it out of the garage. Thanks.
