Button Handbrake - Rest from holding down the brake
For those that have the button handbrake (B8, not sure if they had them before that) you can use it easily at stoplights or quick stops:

-During a stop, engage the button handbrake and then you can release/relax your foot from the brake pedal
-Then, when it's time to go, simply tap the gas and the handbrake will disengage automatically

Enjoy

anybody know if this is possible?

when i've stopped at a shopping mall or something quick with a passenger and i want to run out, i turn the car off but want to leave the music running. most cars you can turn the ignition off and the accessories will still be running. in the B8, i push the pushbotton start and music everything turns off. then i have to press the radio power button again to start the music. is there a way around it?

my question is , what is the sitting for that ? I haven't use it before so I was wondering if any body done before, can walk me through the steps, I just don't wonna go blind up with the Vag

only works if the seatbelt remains fastened, and will not work if the parking brake got engaged before the car was put in D. Good tip!
