Recently purchased a 2015 A4, first time Audi owner. I read that fuel efficiency was pretty good and understand what factors are at play i.e tire pressure, city vs hwy, cold weather, turbo use etc. On my first fuel efficiency test, I seldom used the turbo, not to say I was stressing the engine at lower RPMs, and I was surprised at how little mileage I got out of it, fuel light came on at 450km and I was nearly out of fuel at 490km. I'd say I had an even split of city to highway ratio. Is this normal? Is there something else I should be looking for? I checked for spills or smells as well.
