Question 04 A6 2.7TQ Brake specifications
Hey

I have to replace my front brakes and rotors soon but, I am just looking for some help with regards to the proper brake specifications for my 2004 A6 2.7TQ. I am just wondering how do I know which specification my car has or how can I identify the specification. Do I have to remove the wheel? The Bentley Manual states 5 types.

you need a 4 pad set not 8

Suggest choose your brake parts based on VIN. You could ask Dealer Parts what part numbers you need and from that you can determine which ones you have.

Yeah! You should take 4 pad set instead of 8 pad set.

Instead of the guessing game, why not read the PR label attached near the spare tire or owners hand book. All installed equipment is stored in that label.
