What year did the body styles change?
I am new to audi, and i want to buy a A6.
But i was wondering what years did they change the body styles. |
Re: What year did the body styles change?
C5 came to North American shores in 1998, but only with the 2.8 engine, which isn't a lot of fun.
The 2.7T and 4.2 engines came about in 2000, with a 'face lift' following two years later in 2002. Updated tail lights and exhaust which exits through the rear bumper (instead of being hidden behind the rear bumper) are the only real changes. |
Re: What year did the body styles change?
For the C5 A6 2002 - 2004 facelift, 2.8L replaced with a 3.0L, front bumper skin and front hood grill opening also changed.

Re: What year did the body styles change?
Our post facelift '02 C5 A6 is not a 4.2 and it is not a widebody... wish it was because widebody looks awesome!
Also pre facelift rear tail lights are all red, post facelift have orange in the turn signal area of the lense and both have white lense for reverse bulbs. |
