Default Immobilizer flashing

My 2004 A6 immobilizer light flashes all the time but the car starts and runs fine. I only have one key and all the fob features are working. The owners manual says the car shouldn't start under this condition. Anybody had any experience with this problem? When I go to the dealer what should I expect?
Thanks

The immobilizer sees a fault and it could be reprogrammed again. You will need all the keys that belong to the vehicle. I'll be in College Station TX after the 16th of Dec.
That can be done easily.

Thanks for the reply. Are you training at a dealership down there in Dec? Is this a repair that you perform?

Check the web site for details on that advanced class.
