Exclamation Oil Filter

I got this Car in the Fall and so far I have The Dreaded ABS Light Flashing Brake Light combo and I think my Oil filter is rotted through like it was when a rock hit it on my old VW Jetta MKIII Is this possible or is it my Camshaft seals (I get Oil Drips on the ground) any help would be great!

Cheers,

Jeremy

Default Re: Oil Filter

Can you post pics? I had my ABS module fail not too long ago. I was without ABS and the ABS light would flash constantly. I removed the module and shipped it out to Module Masters. A week and a half later (plus $300) and I had my original module rebuilt with a warranty. Works like new now. I called my local Audi dealership and they wanted $1800 for a new module. And I only have the Bosch 5.3, without ESP or anything fancy like that. Good stuff, saved $1500 which I can put towards other repairs. As far as your oil filter goes, I'd recommend keeping your belly pan (engine undertray) on your vehicle to protect your engine's vital components. If your cam chain tensioners are leaking you will notice a smell of oil in your cabin or smoke coming up from your engine area. I'm in the process of replacing my valve covers so I'll post more on this topic in the near future.
