Yeah, I'm considering if it would be worth it to get a 2.7T because of the extra problems that come with turbos. But certainly the 2.8 would be a little on the slow side. Not that I need a lot of power but it is certainly nice to have it there when you actually do need it.

How about the 3.0? Does anyone have trouble with those?

A4s are nice but they are a little on the small side for me. At 6' 4" I prefer to have space and enough room in the back seat to keep it comfy for passengers. But, I would still consider an A4 if it was a good deal.

On a side note, on my way to lunch with a couple of co-workers in the car yesterday, an Allroad 2.7T wanted to go from the lights, so go we did. I kept up with him but my 4sp auto is not good for racing and the way Nissan has tuned the Altimas really puts a damper on things.

I have put a few mods on the car but I am at the point of trying to decide if it really is worth it or if I should just save up for an Audi. The Altima makes a poor performance sedan because of its size and FWD but some guys still go all out. And they are expensive to mod.

Anyway, can you guys post some actual mpg numbers, or is there a thread on here for that sort of thing? I'm just curious as to what I would be looking at. Also, do they require premium (turbo only?) or is it only recommended for max performance? I know that turbo engines respond much better to premium.

Sorry for all the noob questions and if there is another thread for all this, feel free to tell me to use the search.

Audi's are well built cars. The one "big expense " to owning an Audi is ask if the 90,00 mile service has been done and documented through Audi service. If you take your car to an Audi dealership they can track the VIN and see if the scheduled maintenance has been done. Otherwise, your going to have to "assume" it has from the previous owners been taken care of. That one will set you back about $2500. I used to be a "die hard" Ford fan and now I have a 2003 and a 2004 A6 Quattro s line.
