Installing 710N in a 2.7T
Hi Guys, I was under the assumption that these Bosch 710N valves would be a direct swap for the stock ones on a 2.7T engine. Parts guy is saying something about them having different plumbing/routing of the hoses. To me, in pictures, they look to be the same. Can someone who's done this comment on how hard it is to replace the originals with the 710N valve? I tried searching the forum, and couldn't find a firm answer.
Thanks,
Gary

Re: Installing 710N in a 2.7T
710N's are definitely direct "drop in" replacement on the 2.7T.
The original 2.7T BPV's were 710A's which were known to fail early. For example both of mine were failed by 47K KMs. The warranty replacements were 710B's and were just as untrustworthy. The 710N's were designed for higher boost in the TT. Other than the stamped part number, the housings of all three BPV's are the same including plumbing connections. The difference is in the quality and durability of the diaghram.
Go for the 710N's and you won't regret it.
