2000 Audi A6 Transmition (ECF)
whats up guys, i have an A6 that is in need of a transmition, its a 4.2L and i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for me, i'm not sure if i could use a different tranny and still get it to work effectively, but if that's an option i'm all ears, i'm trying to avoid getting a brand new one, but i'm having a hard time finding the correct one (code ECF) for my car. so if anyone has any ideas just let me know,
God Bless

These transmissions all break. You likely will have a hard time finding one. 99% of the time they will have to be rebuilt.
common problems.
Reverse drum rubber fails
A hub explodes from worn out snap ring groove
torque converter clutch fails (rubber o ring for clutch piston)
pressure reliefe valve fails and causes all of the above.
all this around ~160k
