Speaker B-pillar
Hi,
I found out that if your A6 equipped with a navigation system the speaker is mounted in the b pillar driverside.
My question is, even if your A6 is not equipped with navi or telephone, is the speaker build in in every car or is just the pillar cover on all A6 the same ?
Don't want to take off everything just to have a look.
Thank you

took everything in part and found a speaker behind the pillar and i pulled also the stereo and saw that the connector for telephone is wired.
my question still is :
where goes the cable from the Aux speaker ?
running straight to the stereo ?
and why is everything wired ?
Thanks
Frank

I can't say where the cable for the auxiliary speaker would be wired, but it looks like your vehicle had the factory hands-free built right in. Perhaps the previous owner had it set up. From my understanding it was only available with Motorola phones.
i went to the Wire diagram yesterday and found out that the Aux speaker is hooked up directly to the stereo. Brown connector 8-Pin , Pin 5 and 6.
That makes it very easy to integrate my blue tooth hands free set.
