Power Steering Fluid Leak.. 2004 A6, 2.7T, Q, SLine

POWER STEERING... GONE.

2004, A6, 2.7T, Quattro, SLine (92,000 miles and still looking gorgeous!)

My power steering quit working. All fluid drained and reservoir will not hold new fluid.
I do not yet know if I have a pressure line leak or a bad pump as I cannot see the pump or lines, etc.

I have read in my Bentley manual that I must remove the Front Bumper then the Front Lock Carrier...
#1. Where can I find the #3369 special tools (I assume, to hang or slide the Lock Carrier away from the engine?).
#2. Will I simply be moving the Lock Carrier forward or will I be tilting it toward the floor and let it hang on the 3369 bolts? (I have no idea how much movement can be made while leaving radiator hoses, etc. attached. Is moving this unit a one person job?)
#3. I would appreciate any advice re the power steering removal/replacement you think I might need.
#4. Given the mileage, shall I change the timing belt while the engine is accessible? (OR ANYTHING ELSE?)

So far I have successfully replaced the break discs, break pads, an upper control arm, a front drive axle, AND the transmission control module after the whole area flooded inside the car the first - and ONLY time - I ever took it through a car wash a few months ago! (The fact this could happen at all really upset me, but I took out the battery and cleaned that "bath tub" compartment... And of course will keep an eye on the drain whole in the future... Gurrrrrr!)

I have raised the front of the car on jacks and am ready to dive in!

Thank you,
Randy:D
