No start

Hey guys I have a 2004 Allroad 2.7t and had a no start after having hard starts for 4 days. I have looked at other forums and they say it could be crank position sensor or coolant temp sensor or fuel pump. Me and my mechanic friend could not hear the pump so we believe it is the pump. When we tested the connector to the pump it said 11 to 9 then to 1.5 volts that is in the one and two prong no volts in the 3 or 4 prong. Just wondering if my wiring is messed up we replaced the fuel pump relay now too.

If it is a crank sensor or coolant temp sensor, you should have a code, best to scan to see what it comes up with, if you can get one home (or to your car). I can't not say to the crank sensor as I never had that fail, but I have had a coolant temp fail, the car eventually started, but runs horrible.

I have had the fuel pump go on the 2.7. It just happened, started for about 10-15 seconds, then died, wouldn't start again. No prime, but to see if it is the fuel, you have to see if fuel is being pumped. Access is under the back seat (on the sedan it is) if you want to go looking.
