Child seat install
 

I have a 2001 Audi A6 and wanted to put my childs safety seat in the back in the middle using the lap belt -- I also looked in between the seats and can't find the anchors the only anchors I have is the 3 above the trunk under the back window -- If anyone has the manual maybe you could let me know how to use the lap belt and lock it in or maybe there is a way to get the anchors out by pressing a button -- that's how its done on my 2003 A4. please help -- thanks

Lap belt???? You dont want to use that. Use the anchors that came with the seat and attach them to the anchors behind the driver or passenger seat and up to the rear deck.

You don't have lower anchors, you will need to go to Audi and get them, they used to install them for free, I don't know if they do that anymore

I don't have lower anchors -- I have a 2003 A4 and I have them in that car but This 01 A6 doesn't have them -- I will have to go to the dealer and see what they have to say about this.

Exactly, my 01 A6 did not come with lower anchors, I had to go to the dealer, at the time they put them in for free.
