brake change questions

what tool do i need to remove the calipers(front and rear)

Re: brake change questions

Are you removing the caliper from the upright? I usually remove the bolts on the caliper slides, this leaves the carrier attached to the upright, the actual caliper is loose. A caliper reset tool is helpful, but the caliper can be reset with c-clamps or many other innovative home tools.

Then just remove the 2 13mm holding the caliper pins, pry the caliper body off

I don't know if this is applicable, but double check to make sure you know what bolts are the pins. I have to sets, one are the pins, the other holds the two parts of the caliper together, don't want to take those out.

It is not difficult, getting the cradle off was the hardest. I used an electric impact
