2003 A6 2.7T Rim & Tire Size

Does anyone know what the stock Rim size is? Ive never bought any after market rims before and was wondering when Im shopping around what size Rim I need to look for in a 17 or 18 so I dont run into fit problems and uneven tire wear.

Thanks

2003 saw the wheel size increase from 16" to 17"x7j. the offset should still be +35. You can safely move to an 18" or 19" without issue. Just be aware that any wheel you choose must be high pad type in order to clear your front brakes. This will limit your choice of wheels, but you can always use spacers on the front to adjust fittiment. the rear causes no problems for fittiment.

If you are searching internet sites and they ask for make and model of vehicle, you will quickly see what I mean lack of choices. this is due to our abnormally large front rotors and calipers. If you find something you like and are wondering about fit, post it here. I will try and give you a hand picking something off the shelf that fits.
