P2278 and p2288 Please Chime in?!?
Hi everyone,
I am at a lost here trying to find any clues on the internets on my problem.
My car a 2010 a4 2.0t Quattro, had the dreaded oil problem witch was fixed before I bought at the dealership before they certified the car for extended warranty. PCV valve was also changed then at 53k. PCV was also changed at 141k Alternator and starter where changed at 165k.
I changed 4 coils and spark plugs are brand new. The car just had 3 of the 4 injectors changed and intake cleaned under extended warranty at the dealer.
Misfire codes are now gone I haves between 180 an 190lbs of compression on all 4 cylinders and a 5% leak down everything is within specs.
So I just picked up my car from the dealer yesterday.
Now to on to my problem. While driving home a 100km drive on mixed roads car popes back a CEL ARGGGG.
I pulled up the codes myself and found P2278 and p2288. so Rich on and off Idle.
Any Ideas?
Please feel free to ask any infos I had a long text that I just deleted thinking it would probably keep people away.
Thanks
