Hi there,

Im looking for some new summer performance tires but I dont know what I could get for the best bang per buck.

Im either looking at 245's or 255's depending on which size rim im getting (18" x 8 or 19" x 8.5)

ps: what are the tires the base S4 using?

kumohs seem to be very popular fora good price. Never had them but a lot of the people seem to love them.
My current once are nankangs ns-2 they go for like 70-80$ a peace. so really cheap, surprisingly they are actually really good. I had them for a few months now ( I got them as a package deal with rims for even cheaper). And honestly i cant complain, they have good rating for the braking and such and for the price its hard to go wrong. I drive like a mad man so i notice they wear pretty quickly, They wouldn't not last past 3 seasons in my opinion. But for the price and the performance they give, i am not complaining.

What kind of Tire? This thead has been dealt with several times so I suggest doing a search where you will find plenty of opinions and suggestions.

i second continental for summer tires. They are worth every penny for sure.

I think that there will be as many opinions as posts. I have been happy with Bridgestone RE760 Sports for a daily driver. Depends on how much "performance" you want out of them and how much $$ you are willing to spend.

The Conti Extreme Contacts are awesome. They're quiet, have great grip, and wear very well. I've also been very pleased with their performance in the wet.
