New Audi convert
Hi everyone, just made the switch to Audi yesterday, purchased a 2009 A4. Previously I have pretty exclusively been a BMW guy, used to have an '06 550i M and an '02 330ci before that. It was a tough decision but I got sold on the quality and value that Audi is bringing to the table these days.
I had a couple of questions right off the bat. My car has a chrome trim around the windows and I wanted to know what options were available to change them to matte black. On my 550 I was able to buy shadowline trim off ebay and had any chrome bits covered. I really just don't like chrome, and so wondering what options are available for me on the A4 to get rid of it.
Second, the A4 is quite a bit "less spirited" than my 550 was, so I was hoping to maybe chip it, up the boost on the turbo, and get a new dual/quad exhaust. However, my car is under warranty for the next 4 years and so I wanted to only pursue warranty compliant methods to do so. I was curious as to whether there is an Audi approved aftermarket mods manufacturer as Dinan is for BMW.
Thanks for the any input any of you can provide. If there are threads that already address these things could someone please direct me towards them?

Re: New Audi convert
Stasis Engineering has a parallel warranty to Audi but I believe only for new Audi's that are modified by certified dealers, other than that option once you modify your car all bets are off on warranty coverage if they are aware of the mods. You might want to check out the Stasis web site for more info.
