Default MMI hacking?

Has anyone seen any reference to hacking into the MMI? Since all '09 and above A4's (and older models with NAV) have MMI it would be a slick way to show boost and/or OBD metrics.

I've got a B7 S4 with NAV & found that the MMI was so wasteful by not doing anything other than navigation. It's a shame that it's so underutilized.

I just assumed that the MMI in previous model years that had NAV were similar to '09's. In my '09 the MMI screen is used for everything....NAV, telephone, Radio, Car Setup etc.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to upgrade our systems to this MMI since it also relies on enhanced hardware that isn't included in the current systems.
