Just Bought a 2011 B8
Hello from the West Coast!
Well I just got word that my A4 should arrive this week. This is my second A4 (My first was a 2007 A4). While I do enjoy driving my wife's Passat wagon, it will be nice to have my own car!

I love the colour!!! It looks completely stunning when cleaned during the day and night! I have the light grey leather interior...that's why I didn't get the S-line package. I didn't want black leather seats. I know it's more maintenance but I take care of all my cars anyhow so it didn't matter to me.

I originally wanted the light grey leather as well. I work for a Chrylser Dealership and when I spoke with our service manager he warned me about lighter coloured leathers. I gather that the dye from blue jeans can get into the leather and give it a slight blue colour.
The Salesperson I am delaing with (Ali at Capilano Audi - AWESOME Guy - no BS, this is the third car I have bought from him) showed me photos of audi vehicles that they have had this problem with as well. It is not an issue with the leather, but the amount of dyes that highend jean companies are putting into their product.
Thus I went with black leather. I also went with the B&O sound. We had someone trade in a 2008 S5 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee in December and so I took the S5 for a weekend. I was really close to buying it, but my A4 was already on order (but damm, that S5 sounded and looked so SEXY). The B7O system in that car was amazing. Has anyone alse odered it??

I Have a 2010 A4 S-Line Manual with the B&O sound system. It is not a bad system (far superior to any Bose OEM system I have owned), but don't expect bone crushing bass as it is not a head-banger system. B&O has a clear, refined sound more in tune to classical, easy listening, classic rock, rather than gut-thumping Rap or Hip Hop. Anyway, you will never get concert hall sound in a telephone booth (i.e. a car) that you can create in your home with good equipment and proper set-up. The golden ears claim one of the best sounding car audio systems is the Bower & Wilkens (B&W) set-up in the new Jaguar XJ. All kinds of electronic trickery to give the four passengers a concert hall experience!
Incidently, I use to sell B&O home systems at a high end audio store years ago. Space age blow-your-mind designs with refined sound and a conservative low end.
