Default Audi 2010 A4 kmh (mileage) instrument cluster is not steady

Hi,

Recently I noticed that kmh (kilometers per 100 liters) calculation on my audi's instrument cluster keeps on varying every second. Like from 12km/100L to 4km/100L within secs and then goes to 20Km/100L. I remember it used to go down steady like lets say I started at 15km/100L and it will steadily come down to 8km/100L and then to usual 6.5km/100L on highway.

Is it normal?

Thanks
