Did anyone on this forum purchase an A4 with the navigation package between August and December 2011? I bought my car in August and paid 2000 for the Nav package that did not include the reverse camera. The dealership is claiming that the reverse camera was included in a package worth 3200 that was offered later. I find this really hard to believe... please ping me back. Thanks!

i bought mine december 15, 2011 and mine was premium plus with nav and proximity sensors only no camera. i have contacted my sales rep as it was my understanding after doing some research that the camera part was back order and could be added after the fact. i will argue that its a standard feature on the audi canada website that shows it should be included for the 2000 i paid. waiting to hear back now.

Good luck with that... Mark Motors is claiming that there was a $3200 package for the reverse camera and ignores the info on the forums that suggests the back-ordered parts. Short answer I received on this was that my car wasn't eligible even if the parts were available.

I have not seen a $3200 package advertised for 2012... this is total BS in my opinion.

Unfortunately Audi Canada and Audi US have a habit of changing the options list and included components on a somwhat ad-hoc basis so it's difficult to tell what is in or out for each model year. The link above is a US reference - it differs from what was speced for Canada but can be a starting point for you. I suggest you contact Audi Canada directly (http://www.audi.ca/ca/brand/en/about...tact_audi.html) and ask them what was offered for your specific model year. I had asked them for info about my options on my 2008 Avant and found them very helpful.

I got same thing from my sales rep said same thing. It's part of the 3200 package not the 2000 one. Ours is option code PND and the 3200 with the camera is code PNK. You can order the parts is my understanding and install after the fact for about 1,000 and then need a software update for it.

i just got a response from audi canada asking me to call so i did. we went through the paper work and the code for the backup camera but i then went on to say that based on the website for the $2000 nav package under info tab shows that its included. so we went online and walked thought the features i had and built the car online. sure enough its included. shes going to ask what happened at this point. i would think legally because their website shows its included that it should be. here is for hoping. will have to wait and see.

Audi Canada came back and told me that I was out of luck... not sure how and why they decided to include the reverse camera in the $2000 package. I think it should apply to all 2012 vehicles and Audi is playing cheap here.

i got basically the same response. they said that they will make the appropriate corrections to the website as it clearly states that $2,000 package has it. they should have covered it as some kind of false advertising! =)

Well I was just on the Audi.ca configuration site and both the $2000.00 and $3200.00 navi systems are listed, however when you pull up the information tab it states that the back up camera is included in either navi option . Looks like they still need to do some work on the site.

I agree and that is what I mentioned to Audi when I called their service #. seems the just want the vin and bring up the option code and says its not included. Made me mad because I had them go to the site and build it just as I did and they said yes it shows it included but it's an error. I say honor it and eat it!!!
