I am getting a door rattle when the right bump is hit -both front doors do it, at the top of the door. Is this normal for my 2011 A4?

Haven't had my '11 for long, but it doesn't rattle anywhere in my car.

I have the same problem. More serious on the driver front door. It is not easy being diagnose. I am afraid I have to live with it.

I had a squeak (not sure I'd call it a rattle) in both doors near the dash. It only happened on certain bumps or speeds on rough roads. It took forever to figure out, but after inserting a thin piece of rubber/foam in a few different places I got it to stop. The final solution was to put a piece of thin door insulation foam between the outer wall and the dash where it's quite flexible. I hope that's it for you.

I have overheard someone at the dealership a few days ago mention something about a TSB/Recall about the Door Latch/Striker, Wind Noise (a seal issue?) and Speaker Rattles issues with the 2009-2011 VAG cars. I'm not sure if this is what you're experiencing but I suggest taking your car to the dealer and get them to inspect these items as they might be the problem.

Another area that is notorious for noises would be the driver's side fuse panel cover. They can and will rattle and/or squeak if not seated properly. When the fuse panel cover rattles and/or squeaks, it's kinda hard to locate since one must open the door to feel it. There is a very thin rubber seal that holds the fuse panel cover in tension. If the panel is not seated, it will make the noises especially over rough roads. I simply popped it off and reseated it. After that the noise went away.

I have the same noise on the driver´s door and the dealer also said it was "normal".

I did go back to the dealer and showed them the "rattle" while driving. He said it was the rubber door seal squeeking against the door metal, so he just sprayed some silicone on the area. This only fixed the problem for a short time though. I'm still frustrated.

I just used some black weather stripping from Canadian Tire. Cut into 2"ish pieces and stuffed them in the space. I would supply pictures, but I spent quite some time stuffing them back there so they were nearly invisible. Don't use a knife as it will scratch the plastic.

If you can put some pictures to see exactly where you put it, it would be great. I already went to see someone who specializes in this, and he mentions that I should keep pushing the dealer.
