A4 delivery time

A4 delivery time
Just wondering how long some of you have had to wait for your A4 after ordering?
The dealer said it would take 12-14 weeks. It's been almost 8 weeks and I thought I would just check in early cause i've heard most people have had thiers delivered within 2 months. I've been told that it's been pushed back to 18 weeks.
How long does it take to make a car? People on other boards who had ordered around the same time have taken delivery already. Does it matter what city your from? Does it matter how much you pay?

I'm trying to remember when I first ordered my car. I believe it was sometime at the end of March 2006. I picked it up after I got back from Europe on June 6, 2006 but I believe it was here before I left at the beginning of May, 2006. I guess they give you a worst case scenario when they tell you 12 weeks.

Just got my 2008 A4 Avant SE last friday, it was ordered on may 20th.
That took a awfull long time...
Apprently the 1st few order always take a bit longer, so if ordered now it should be quicker.

Hey Duke76,
When you get your car, let me know if you have a trip computer, with avg mpg, avg speed, etc, or only km to empty and km to service. From web reading it looks like the SE should have a full trip computer, but I don't. I couldn't get a streight answer from my dealer on this.

I ordered my 2010 A4 Quattro Prem Techn B&O mid March. Dealer saying he expects to receive end May / begin June 2010 in Montreal. Anybody from Montreal receive there A4 recently and how long did it take?

My sales told me it's on water 2 weeks ago. It's expected to be here by the end of April. I should take the one with Premium pkg...They have one in stock back in March......but more $$$
