Hey there everyone.

New to the audi forums as I'm taking delivery of my new (to me) 2010 A4 S-line in a couple of days.

I couldn't help but notice during my test drive that low resolution low budget looking navigation graphics in this car?!?!

I've seen the 3G MMI nav in quite a few Audi's and I just assumed that this 2010 A4 Sline with nav would come with a better system.

After some research it seems that there are some dealer DVD/SD cards that have to be loaded into the system hard drive for the 3D 3G maps to work. Can anyone confirm this?

Just for reference, this A4 has every option available. Nav, back up camera, parking sensors, etc...

not sure to be honest. might just ask the dealer if your nav systems needs an updated software for the new features/graphics. i know my 2012 looks awesome compared the my 07 when i had nav. the 3d is pretty neat in it. gives some good depth

I called audi canada, gave them my VIN they said the car came equipped with the 3G MMI nav, so I'm assuming that's the same system that's in the 2012 that I drove as well.

maybe just software needs upgrade? cant imagine they made significant changes besides map data but never know.
