Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
All dealers currently have one "Premium" Trim 2013 A4 for use as a demo (as seen in sakimano's comparison, the 2013 is actually a Premium in that pic), until the rest get released from the Port of Halifax, where the first batch is currently. Yes, the 2013's are on Canadian soil. Official word on release is mid June 2013, but we are hoping it will be sooner because all dealers, from my sources, are running out or in our situation have run out of 2012 A4 stock. I have one remaining 2012 Ibis White Avant, that's it.
I delivered our store's last 2012 A4 two weeks ago! Pricing does not change for 2013, so at all trim levels the vehicle will be great bang for your buck.
Standard Option Upgrades from 2012:
2013 A4 Quattro:
Bi-Xenon Headlights with LED's front and back
2013 A4 Quattro Premium:
Nav (no camera, no sensors) and Advanced Key (Push button, etc.)
2013 A4 Quattro Premium +:
Nav with Camera and sensors, B&O Sound
No matter which way you slice it, 2013 is better value. Yes, currently interest rates are higher (4.9% Finance up to 60 months or 5.4% lease 37-48 months), but wait until tomorrow as the rates do change from month to month. Considering no one (99.9% sure) has yet taken delivery of a 2013, current rates are nothing to get flustered about.
PM me with your email if you need further 2013 info.
Cheers

Thanks for the nice detail. Any updates on MY13 Allroad?

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
Ref the new nav system on the 2013. Since Google provides the maps, does this mean you need to subscribe to a mobile data plan to support the Audi Connect Nav functions? Wanting to know how one gets updates moving forward.

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
Confirmed with my Audi rep, Canadian cars will not have Audi Connect anytime soon.
Deseronto, my first A4 Allroad was in the same boat as the first 2013 A4. Each dealer has had one of those as well, I am told. Also Premium trim. The rest should start dropping very soon, my first saleable unit is due to drop any day! Exciting!

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
I have an A4 base on order but thinking of upgrading to a premium.
I imagine Nav package is useful once in awhile, but I rarely use my iphone for directions, and when I do it works pretty well. Does Nav include any other features? If you have it on a 2012, do you find it useful?

Re: 2013 a4 vs 2012 a4
Got my 2012 A4 Avant a month ago with 1.9% and some additional discount for under $600/ month. I can live without the new features (advance key, nav, etc) and I know the 2013 would be over my budget anyway with a higher interest rate. It's my first car so I'm just happy to have it. So far the car and the customer service at downtown Audi in Toronto has been superb. If the new features are important to you and you can afford it, then go for it. If you're at the top of your budget, then the 2012 is still an awesome car. You'll be happy!
