I also bought my 2011 A4 S-Line in April this year. The other day, I experienced the exact same symptom, a little revving and it was cleared out in a few seconds.

I had the exact same tech service bulletin addressed. ECU update, crankcase seal and breather valve. All done under warranty. Car seems to be running fine now.

I have a 2011 A4 as well and it has done that two me a couple times however the engine light does not come on it fixes it self after about 5 secs running rough its stalled on me once. I guess i need that same work order

So after taking my car into Audi, it appears this service bulletin is only applicable to the 2.0 litre engine. My 2009 A4 3.2 Litre engine has the exact same issue, but Audi continues to be unhelpful ...very frustrating!!

Looks like carbon buildup issue. 3.2 FSI is one of the worst engine for that kind of problem.

if only happen on cold start, might be injectors leaking and excessive carbon buildup on intake valves.

2004 A4 w/1.8T, I'm having the same problems, I went to the local repair shop (certified audi mech) and they kept changing the coils?? the engine code read cylinder #2 misfire? when they would change the coil it would be fine for a few days? ( I think it was those times when it just didn't skip) Check engine light back on this morning with just a slight skip,, like the others, not all the time and only at cold start,, looks like you guys found the problem with the breather and seal,, I'll try that next,, thk
