They have a corporate suppliers program. Basically, if you work for a company that is on their list, you automatically get 7% off MSRP. They also throw in the Audi Care package ($750) for free. In addition, you also have some room to negotiate with the dealer on top of the 7% incentive. I was quite happy when I found out about this opportunity.

Audi Uptown rocks. I bought my car from Fredrick Lee. Super nice guy and even offered to pay off the lease on my previous car.

I got an 09 A4 Premium White - B&O, Tech Package (Side assist/push button/home link), Interior/Exterior protection. Total w/ tax and all was about $53 000. Also came with Audi Care for 5 years.

Bought the guy a case of beer on delivery because I was seriously impressed with the quality of sales people. They didn't pressure me at all, and I really felt like he was looking after ME.

Thanks Izzy for the pics, gorgeous car.

I was wondering if you had the email or contact info of Mr. Wu at Audi Uptown? My wife and I are looking at an Audi A4 and want to get quotes. Any tips with bargaining as well? Thanks.

Hi KingstonAudi!

Thanks for the comment! I will definitely try to post some more content about the car, I believe that my next post will be a very comprehensive youtube video showcasing the exterior, interior, and overall features of the 2010 A4 S-line. I'll probably get around to making/posting one very soon... especially with the colder temperatures and the fast approaching winter, there's not much time left for the car to sit on the 19" P-zero wrapped rims.

With regard to the Audi Rep, Here's his information:

It's great to hear that you're looking into an A4 as your next car! In terms of advice, I would recommend that you shop around a bit. See where and what makes you most confident and comfortable. I visited pretty much all of the Audi dealerships in the GTA. The Mississauga dealership was always too busy with not enough sales reps readily available to help answer any questions, the Queensway Audi dealership felt a bit too small, I didn't feel like they could provide the right level of post-sales service I would be looking for. The PFAFF Audi Dealership had a very impersonal feel to it. I didn't feel comfortable browsing or talking to the reps, I felt like they were trying to be almost too high-class. Out of all dealerships, Audi Uptown (in Markham) was the best by far. When I was there for my first time, I wanted to test drive an A4 (3.2) with an S-line package, unfortunately they didn't have any on the lot. However, Admond arranged for me to test Drive an A5 (2.0T) which had the s-line package. This was essentially the A4 with 2 Doors. The A5 was the dealership managers personal car, they keys were given to me and I was told to comeback after I had experienced the car. I was on the test drive alone with my father, without the dealership representative. I thought I'd share that small story to convey how well they try to take care of their customers.

But anyways, In terms of bargaining here's what I would recommend:
1. Remember that you're the customer, they NEED your sale (don't let them overpower you with anything they say)
2. Be confident in your offers (and counteroffers)
3. Have some knowledge about the car you're going to purchase (features, etc) so they know that they're dealing with an educated consumer (this makes it hard for them to sell you on meaningless information and costs)
4. As a leverage tool, I would recommend that you configure a car that you would realistically be happy with. Don't overload it with features and accessories that you don't really want. (these can be used to get extra cash incentives). For example: when I was negotiating for my car, I wanted the A4 Premium, 2.0T with S-Line Trim (no Navigation, No Bang-Oulfsen sound system, and No Technology Package). I didn't find much utility from these options.. When I was negotiating, I was offered by the dealer a final price of 51,600-ish, I can't remember exactly. I counter-offered by saying I would agree to that price, provided they include the Bang-Oulfsen Sound system which was worth $1100 I believe. They agreed to it, which means they were willing to reduce their margin further, So I instantly requested that instead of the sound system, they gave me the Cash equivalent of Price reduction.. which Brought the car down to $50000ish.
5. As a last point, make sure to ask them about the Corporate Suppliers Purchase program, depending on what Company you work for.. You may be eligible for a 6-7% cash discount. (This is an automatic reduction of price, you should continue to negotiate a dealer-incentive).

I hope that helps out a bit.

Best luck!

Hi, Great looking car..I just purchased the same this August but used with 15000km with the automatic transmission....pure pleasure to drive. I am still learning the navigation system. The B&O really nice. I have done 3 road trips in the last 2 month, Montreal to Boston, Ottawa and Quebec City.
Youll love it.

Hi,
How do you find the nav system? or have you used it much. I think you have to really get used of it. It is a powerful system but I still like my Magellan for its simplicity.
