Default 2009 A4 rims

Hi,

Looking at getting rims for my 2009 A4. It has the 17" rims that came with the premium package that I will use as winter rims. I want to get rims with a bit more "bling" for summer use with sport tires. Any recommendations or websites that would list what would be available.

Thanks,

I get all my rims from Wheels Direct in Scarborough, On. I heard they had RS4 replicas.

I just bought a set of 20" for my 09 A4 from MSR.
It will make the car look mean!

Thanks. Did you have to modify anything to get the rims to fit. The brochure lists optional rims up to 19"?

Modification is not required when getting larger wheels but you need to ensure that the bolt pattern is correct (5 x 112) and you have the correct bore size. If the size is too big then make sure to get hub rings to avoid vibration. Lastly, the wheels have to clear your calipers so careful attention to offset is a good idea (I'm sure virtually any 18 or larger will not be a problem). When going to a larger wheel, the gap in the wheel well becomes more prominent and most will suggest you should lower the car ...

Whatever you do, I'd strongly suggest going to a lightweight riim as the benefit in performance and ride is quite noticeable. I went from stock 18's to 19's that were 10 lbs lighter (with tires) and the car rides smoother, handles better and no negative affect to accelleration.
