2009 a4 blindspot

Re: 2009 a4 blindspot
Sometimes I do feel that there are some blindspots but then I just do a mirror check with the huge mirrors that come with the car. I feel that if you use the mirrors and do all the neccessary checks, you should be okay. I am not discounting you're claim but I don't share the same observations.
I don't have a problem with the bar in the middle but I do find that there is a slight blind spot in the front window frame when doing turns. I guess it isn't technically a blind spot but when I turn my field of view is sometimes obstructed-a good shoulder check and general awareness of your surroundings should squander any chances of an accident. Plus the side assist helps me out a lot too haha.

I've only been driving mine for 2 weeks, and the Side Assist has proven useful 3-4 times. I scan my mirrors and sides all the time and the tech still managed to be useful. It's a good thing to have - albeit not always necessary.

I personally like the huge mirrors. I drove a car with much smaller ones before and they felt cramped. Too bad they don't design the back to be a little more aerodynamic though. There's always bugs/dirt/debris on it after a highway commute for me.
