What did you pay for your 2009 A4?

Hi,

I'm about to go buy myself a 2009 A4 (maybe Avant, still deciding):
- Premium
- Sport Package
- Drive Select
- B&O

How much did you pay for your?
On my first visit, the sales give me a quote with 2% off MSRP.
I wonder how much more I can get?

Thanks

Cant help on price but speak with Alex at Mississauga Audi (905-593-6040). He's a straight shooter and is very competitive.

Tell him I sent you. Good luck !

Hey,

I just picked up my Ibis White 2009 A4 2.0T, 2 days ago. In total I got it on the road for $57,000. I got the premium package, with the B&O sound system (which is absolutely amazing), the Tech package, and wood trim.
No Navi, it's too expensive and I prefer the Garmin.
No DriveSelect, I find the responsiveness of the car unbelievable. (I just traded in my Infiniti M35x).

Overall impression: I love it

Re: What did you pay for your 2009 A4?

I have not taken delivery of it yet, but I got an invoice deal on a 2009 white base model avant. I was not given an exact figure on the invoice bc they said they dont know until it is close to shipping, only that it was around 7% off MSRP. This would not apply to destination, handling or dealer fees. The destination fee is also subject to change based on things such as current fuel costs or something.

I'm thinking their costs are actually below invoice somehow (rebate maybe?). That or they get some kind of bonus for selling the wagons, which aren't really that popular down here. It is also possible they simply plan on making their money off the financing or service. I worked this out with the manager at the dealership, it didn't seem all that hard to get it so I'm thinking their costs aren't really as high as they claim them to be.

Just ordered mine as well....

Audi A4 '09 Premium 2.0T Quattro
Ibis White on black
+Audi Care

$44404 before taxes...

I'd also suggest since you're in the Toronto area... Try calling "Ben" at "CarCostCanada" (an online dealer invoice pricing site). The number is 1-866-453-6995 and I think his extension is 227.

Their website is "affiliated" with some GTA dealers that don't mind taking a bigger hit for his referrals. And he was actually able to beat the price I got mine for, except that I got mine locally here in Ottawa, and I also personally know the salesperson, so I didn't feel my loyalty could be bought for a few dollars per month.

But definitely give him a call if you're local to GTA!

Hello Kamshaft,

Does your $44404 include transport and prep? or just for the MSRP+Audi Care ($750)

Since you have white, I guess the $750 metalic paint doesn't apply to you.

So you are off about $1346 (45000+750-44404), am I right?

Would appreciate it if you can clarify.

Thanks.

Yes, it includes everything... so actually, the calculation (if you're starting at MSRP) is $45800 (MSRP+Freight) + 750 - 44404 = $2146. (since freight is non-variable and is actually part of the set price of the car which is used to calculate residuals (unlike Admin costs, PDI, and all that other bla bla bla).

But it may be wiser to start at dealer invoice then go up to your selling price, since this represents more accurately what you're actually paying.

Since you're in Montreal, I'd DEFINITELY suggest calling that guy I mentioned in my previous post, since there's much more competition in Toronto and Montreal markets. I'm certain 100% that your final price will be at least $600 less than mine if not more.

(and yes, I wanted white, so no extra $$$ for colour)

Re: What did you pay for your 2009 A4?

It is the end of the 2009 series, 2010 will are in order mode.

So I went back to my previous dealer in Montreal area. ( Niquet) The guy to get me back offer me 2000$ plus the May incentive 1500$ if you buy and 1.9 % financing for previous Audi owner. This is new in May.
Then I read on this forum i could qualify for SSP program with Audi, this give me a reduce PDSF of 7% plus it included Audi Care.
However the dealer did not mentionned he was using this pricing so effectively was ripping me off in making me believe that Audi Care was at his cost, ontop I was not getting the full reduction only the 2000$. This dealer also charges extra fee for advertising, so he said 300$.
Went to a different dealer got 8% below PDSF, incentive for MAY and naturaly the Audi care is included under SPP.
No extra, transport is 800$ as any other PDI 849$, so other place are at 795$, so did not mind the extra 50$.

So I believe it was a fair deal, although I could have try a bit harder, since a Laval dealer was willing to give me an extra 400-600$ but it was kind of speculative.

Good luck guys with your purchase.
