this may be a bit of a dumb question.. but asking wont hurt.


would putting coilovers on my car effect my warranty in anyway? has anybody had any experience with something like this? if so i'd appreciate the feedback.

 

Been there, done that ! I never had an issue with warranty with the 3 Audis I modified (Bilsteins on a B5 and coils on a B6 and B7). Coils could only affect your warranty as it relates to failure/ issues with related components. The dealership potentially could give you a hard time with steering components if they could link lowering the car to that but problems with electrical or your motor would be unrelated.

It won't void your warrantee, but if you have a problem with the car the dealer will try to blame the aftermarket coil overs.

 

I have a great relationship with the local dealership and wouldnt say they're mod friendly; however, would suggest PWrDriftr's statement could be amended to:
