Warranty Help - 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro
 

I recently bought an A4, not knowing the heavy oil consumption issues these cars have. This car drinks engine oil, I just had the oil changed after buying it and put it in about 4.73L. Fast forward 300kms later, the low oil warning comes up.

I scheduled an appointment for the oil consumption test at Audi. Obviously, the car is gonna fail because this amount of oil consumption is just absurd.

I know this is an engine issue and Audi had a class action just for this issue. The problem is my cars at 118k miles and the warranty is only till 80k miles/8 years. By any chance, would Audi be able to cover this or am I screwed?

I am in Alberta, Canada, any advice/help would be most appreciated it.
