Multiple Security Deposits

Does Audi have an option for Multiple Security Deposits to lower Lease rates?

Re: Multiple Security Deposits

Yes, to a max of 9 and it lowers the rate by 1.5%

Hey afretes

what's the deal with multiple security deposits? Can you please explain the process to me? A lower lease rate from the 2.9% in march seems too good to be true!

Thanks!

Re: Multiple Security Deposits

For example, lets say you're leasing an A4, your sec deposit is $700... if you pay 9 additional sec deposits (refundable at the end of the lease) your rate drops by 1.4% down to 1.5%. Basically, Audi keeps your $6,300 for 36 months and you get a better rate.

Thanks afretes!

You rock. I should have bought a car off you. You're a wealth of info on anything Audi. CAN I buy a car off you if I live in BC? What are the logistics involved in doing that? Would it be easier to hit up a dealer here in Vancouver?

Re: Multiple Security Deposits

Shipping a car to BC is quite expensive ~$1,200. Let me know what sort of numbers you're getting and I'll tell you if they're ok.

Re: Multiple Security Deposits

If I put down 9 times the security deposit it will give me 1.5% lower than the current lease rate "special" or some higher "regular rate"?

For instance 36 month rate is at a lowered rate of 2.9% ... I'd effectively get 1.4% if i put down 9 times the security. That'll shave off around $45/m or around $1620 in savings over 36 months.

How does it work with the current promotion of $0 security deposit? Would that mean to get to the 9x reduced rate, I'd only have to pay 8x?

Am i getting this right?

Re: Multiple Security Deposits

You'll have to pay the 9 "extra", normally it would be a total of 10.
