How to track your car
 

Don't get any bulldung from your dealership. They can all track where your car is, as long as you have a commission number - which is a LXXXX (L followed by 5 numbers).

My dealership gave me the number and then told me he had no idea how to track it - bright fellow. Called another dealership and they were nice enough to tell me when it was scheduled to come in to port - went to http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/portList.do to find out what ship was due in Halifax on that day, and then I was able to track it off the coast of England with its call sign.

I cant understand why Audi doesnt make it easier to track your car. A) Spending 50K on a car makes me antsy and I WANT IT NOW, or at least I want to be able to stalk it across the ocean B) maybe if I know when and where it is I can plan better for items such as winter tires or returning my current lease with a bit more notice than 5 minutes, etc... Also, it's fun counting down the days...

Now, I just have to take some time off, so I can ambush the truck/train between here and Halifax...

LOL I thought this was a thread about taking your car to a racetrack. Good luck with delivery, would you have taken European delivery if it were available?

I am not certain what that would have required... In any case, I ordered this car late in October, and I am basically getting it next week - pretty fast considering some peeps seem to be waiting 3-4 months +.
