Hi all, Newbie here looking for some help.

I have a 2009 Audi A4 3.2 Prestige Sedan with 18" wheels (245/40/r1.
At about 70000km and I need new brakes.

I went to my local auto parts store and ordered brakes which were supposed to fit my car. They ordered me the Wagner MX1111.

I proceeded to take the brake pads to my local mechanic to have them installed; however, he told me they did not fit my car (he said they were meant for the cabriolet).

BUT I took the brake pads back to the Auto Parts store and they said they should indeed fit my car and when I look online it does appear that the Wagner MX1111 should fit my 2009 Audi A4 Prestige Sedan....

Long story short, I just need to find some brakes that will fit my car...Please HELP!

 

The cabriolet and sedan use different sized pads. Check on the ecs.com sit under brake pads for more information and pad types. I'm using Hawk HPS pads. Very low dust and improved stopping. ps don't forget to get a sensor.

 

Don't cheap out on brakes. I recently changed my brakes at 56,000km the front where finished.
If your going to go out of OEM you MUST change all 4 or else your stability control will freak out.

I changed all 4 OEMs to ZIMMERMANN Discs and Hawk HPS Pads.
With OEM, the car would GRIP/BITE right away but after that the slowing down wasn't linear.
With the Hawk HPS it doesn't GRIP/BITE per say so the initial jolt is gone (a good thing for passengers) and the braking is more linear from higher speeds. Note You MUST brake them in properly before they start to operate well.

If I recall correctly the Discs cost me 100-120 each and hps were 110-80 (give or take 10$) + Brake wear sensor 10$

 

Get stoptech!!!!they work better on A4s, or hawks,less brake dust and longer life

 

i have great experience with my b7. Hawk HPS pads

 

Any shops recommand to take my 09' A4 for brake pads replacement job??

I ordered mine from auto parts way Canada. 4 plain OEM Zimmerman discs and Akebono euro ceramic pads. Result is almost non existent brake dust, better stopping power and zero squeaks...some also like Hawks pads.
