I've noticed a discrepancy in the MMI for B&O Settings. The difference came up in a different forum when discussing the B&O sound system. I'd like to see if my car is weird or if it's a Canadian thing.

I'm asking anyone who has the B&O sound system to check what DSP Label you have in the Sound Setting. Mine says DSP Premium with Surround on/off and GALA inside the menu. Some others told me I should have DSP Bang & Olufsen with Driver/All/Front/Rear, GALA On/Off, and Surround adjustment.

They suspected I may not have the right software for the B&O system. Can anybody compare, please?

I have B&O without Nav as well and I also have that same two options as yourself. I wonder if there's a software update waiting for us..?

 

It would make sense considering it's a "state-of-the-art" sound system. I'd like to to think they would have given us some more settings to play around with. Currently I see what your seeing.

 

I wonder if it's an American thing to have the more complete menu. I haven't had time to contact Audi again. Last time, their response was that there's no difference in the hardware. But they didn't say anything about missing the options.

 

I have an Avant w/ Nav and my menu settings are the same as the second you mentioned ...."DSP Bang & Olufsen with Driver/All/Front/Rear, GALA On/Off, and Surround adjustment."

 

I also have B&O without Nav and see only the GALA and surround options. I do not see the "DSP B&O Driver/All/Front/Rear" option
