Apr 2.0 a4
Anyone know of a place to get APR tuning done to my car in Ontario...I went to H2 Sport before, but can't seem to get in touch with anyone there now...are there other places out there that do this?
Regards, Ryan |

Re: Apr 2.0 a4
Went on the APR website and found a local shop here in Barrie that flashes the ECU...if anyone is considering doing this, APR is having one of their fall sales and is offering all 4 programs for the price of one...I believe it costs $599
I have had it done on my old 1.8 and I noticed an extreme difference, just with stage one; has anyone else had positive results with the 2.0 APR flash? All insight is appreciated... |

I was told 30 more hp and 60 more pounds of torque...is that accurate? Cheers |

2005-2008 A4 2.0T FSI 232hp / 273lb-ft on 91- ocatane fuel, 241hp / 292lb-ft on 93-octane fuel. The car stock is 200HP /207lb-ft, and yes I love the APR tune it is awesome and totally worth it. The car runs much better and it comes alive compare to stock.
Go spend the money and you will never look back. |

Re: Apr 2.0 a4
Driving style seems to affect the oil consumption more, and I now have to top up between scheduled maintenance (probably a quart every 3000kms now.. but i dont drive much to begin with). I did not change anything else to my engine.

Re: Apr 2.0 a4
I had my 2009 A4 B8 Avant done at K & H Radiators in Scarborough. It took a total of 10mins to program and get the instructions to use. I am VERY pleased with the power increase (even on 91 octane!). The daily driver is a really fun car to drive now.
For anyone who has the 2.0 211hp engine, this is a MUST! |
Re: Apr 2.0 a4
The difference of power within the first 3 gears is undeniably noticeable...and i have the sport, so the handling and sway are set up perfectly for the extra power...wish i got the sport last time instead of having to put on new suspension.

Re: Apr 2.0 a4
Thread revival apologies.
Picking up my '16 A4 this weekend and have been looking at APR Stg 1 for some time now. Going from my modded Evo X to the A4 is somewhat of a challenge. This is a daily so I don't see myself doing much beyond a tune and perhaps intake/turbo back down the road. Stg 1 for now should satisfy me somewhat. I've hear nothing but good things regarding APR tunes. The stealership is toting the usual line of voiding my warranty. I'm looking for feedback on continued thoughts of APR tunes after running your car on them for years as well as dealership warranty coverage on tuned Audis. If anyone has specific dealings with Mark Motors in Ottawa, that would bee appreciated. As they are the nearest dealership to me. Thanks for any advice in advance. |
