I am getting a lot of cabin noise. Dealership tells me its the tires.
The continetal tires have 25000 kms on them, i told the dealership to take a look at the complete car something is wrong. Does anyone have this problem.

 

Yes, I have the same problem on my 2011 sline with 19". I've tried Pirelli and Continental tires and both started making noise about 15k and were incredibly loud by 25k.

I've had the alignment checked and it was fine. No accidents. Tire pressures maintained as per specs.

The problem is how the front tires wear unevenly on the inside.

Dealers suggested solution was to buy cheap tires and replace them often!!

 

The dealer told they would check out the car. I was furious that a $55,000 car eats up tires in 25,000 Kms. I will bring this issue right to Audi canada if the problem is not fixed. I have Continetal tire son the car. Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this problem.

 

Have you looked these tires up on tirerack or somewhere else? If they are the 255/35/19 Contisport Contact 3 like I have, they are high performance summer tires, with a low treadwear number of 280
Awesome performance....for a little while.
I've probably got 25k on mine and I'll be lucky to get summer 2014 out of them. so 40k tops, and I'll be at the wear bars for sure.

If you are not liking the wear and want to trade some performance there are some good choices in the high performance all season with treadwears in the 400-550 range.

I'm still undecided if I want to go high end all season or summer only again
